Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AvalaVoice. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use AvalaVoice.

The service

AvalaVoice provides AI-powered speaking practice, pronunciation coaching and feedback across multiple languages. The AI is a practice tool: its feedback is generated automatically and, while we work hard on quality, it can be imperfect and is not a substitute for a certified teacher, examiner or professional translation.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use AvalaVoice.

Subscriptions and billing

  • The Free plan includes a set amount of daily speaking practice. Paid plans add more minutes and features, as described on our pricing page.
  • Paid plans may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the plan renews and your payment method is charged.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful or abusive purposes.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service.
  • Share your account in ways that circumvent plan limits, or resell access.

Your content

You retain ownership of what you say and submit. You grant us the limited licence needed to process it and provide the service (for example, transcribing your speech to generate feedback), as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

AvalaVoice, its content, lessons and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own learning.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, exam results or fluency. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AvalaVoice is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using AvalaVoice at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we must remove to comply with the law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes are reflected by the “last updated” date above; continued use means you accept the revised terms.
