Audio matters more here than in most languages. French drops written letters wholesale, so the real question is usually whether you recognise by ear a word you would have read without trouble.
The CEFR bands are the same everywhere. What sits inside them is not — A2 in French asks for things A2 in another language never mentions. Here is what your result actually describes.
